Micah has 12 years of experience in childcare in private care, daycare, and educational settings (including camp counseling)! They have experience working with kids, newborns through middle school. 

 

Micah enjoys spending their free time cooking, baking, playing board games, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with family.

 

When working with kiddos, he loves going on nature walks, helping them explore their hobbies and interests, and talking about animals/the environment. Micah finds himself drawn to working with children because of their sense of wonder and excitement for the world around them. They inspire him to learn new things and explore exciting hobbies. Micah has a childcare philosophy of free-play, hands-on learning, and is always willing to be a little bit silly! 

 

Education: 

Micah has a degree in Environmental Studies from Southern Oregon University
