Laurie is a pro with 9 years of babysitting experience. She's cared for kids of all ages (3-11), and has also worked with preschool, elementary, and middle school children as a student teacher, and at horseback riding camp as a camp counselor for 6 years. She's currently the Site Coordinator of the Oregon Start Making A Reader Today (SMART) Program at Albina Head Start.
 

When caring for children, Laurie loves going to the park, playing board games, playing indoor games like hide and seek, and whatever else is in the realm of what parents are okay with. She's also a big fan of imagination games, which she says have endless possibilities.
 

Laurie doesn't watch much TV, but she does enjoy painting, reading, and creative writing. She also speaks German, "enough to hold up a conversation."

Laurie is a fun, creative, and energetic caregiver who would be a great fit for your family. She's also a reliable and experienced professional who is sure to provide your children with the best possible care.
